Metropolis - A New York City Timelapse
New York City has been my home for seven years and as a filmmaker and photographer I can’t help but be in awe of the vibrancy and beauty of this place . I wanted to create a work that captures and conveys my love for it. This video is something that I have been working to create for two and a half years. As a freelancer, I shot this film in the little windows of time between work, looking for my next job, and getting engaged and married. I’ve shown some of these shots to friends along the way, but this single, unified piece has always been the focus of my filming and I’m very happy to present it now.
We just had a Vespa adventure from Saigon to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, in February 2012, and we stayed a few days.

I shot this after being inspired by some videos seen here on Vimeo. Everything was shot hand held with a Canon 5D MkII and a variety of lenses. Here is the video from our Northwest tour we went on from Vancouver to Portland! Featuring Dillon Lloyd, Greg Flag, Jaumell Campbell, Chris Martinda, Chris Silva, Travis Collier, Harrison Boyce and even Dom Mach has a few clips! The trip was a blast and it was super productive as far as riding goes. We logged so much footage that rather than leaving a bunch of stuff out to post a quick edit, we put together more of a full video section and are bringing it straight to you on the world wide web!
